I am honored to serve as Vice President of the Harlingen High School South Band Boosters. I bring 37 years of law enforcement experience, including 30 years serving in a school district setting, giving me a strong understanding of the policies, procedures, and teamwork needed to help support a successful band program.

My wife, Adriana, and I are proud parents of two Mighty Hawk Band members, Jaime and Marco. I look forward to supporting our students, directors, and families, and I am always available to answer questions from current and prospective booster members.

Dr. Hector Acosta is a licensed physical therapist and is proudly serving his second year with the Mighty Hawk Band Boosters. He is a dedicated father of three, Iliana, Gabriel, and Hector. Iliana is currently a junior and a member of the Harlingen South Band. He is excited to support the band program and encourages all parents to get involved and be part of this amazing organization. He looks forward to a great year of music, teamwork, and community spirit.

Nathan is the proud father of two amazing kids Leo (Junior) and Andie (1st). Currently a Senior Software Developer at JEAR Logistics based in South Carolina, he brings over a decade of problem solving and technical expertise to the team. His background and detail-oriented nature make him a perfect steward for the booster's finances. As a fellow musician, he understands firsthand the importance of music education, and the impact that a strong band program can have on the developing young mind. He is excited to support the his son, and all the members of the Mighty Hawk Band, to ensure they have the best experience possible in the coming years.

I am a dedicated professional, husband, and father of three sons who has somehow managed to survive the daily chaos of work and family life with my sense of humor mostly intact.

After 12 years as a professional fire fighter and EMT for the City of Weslaco, I am now a federal officer and an EMS instructor for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where I take pride in serving my country and doing a job that requires dedication, responsibility, and the ability to stay calm when things get interesting.

Outside of work, my biggest accomplishment is being married to Stephanie and raising our three sons. Being a husband and father keeps life busy, unpredictable, and occasionally louder than it probably needs to be. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I am hardworking, loyal, and family-oriented guy who believes in doing things the right way, standing by the people I care about, and enjoying a good laugh whenever possible.

At the end of the day, my life is pretty simple: serve my country, take care of my family, work hard, and laugh often.
